Hotel description and useful information for travellers

Cleanliness

Multiple reviews report inconsistent housekeeping (rooms not fully swept, beds only straightened), worn towels/linens and occasional cleanliness issues — cleanliness is noticeably below other strengths.

Service

Staff repeatedly described as very friendly and attentive (helpful breakfast staff, allowed late checkout); some isolated service issues at reception (transfer not honored, credit-card proof requested) and slow elevator assistance, but overall service is strong.

Location

Frequently praised as beachfront and peaceful — excellent for rest and direct beach access; one comment that location (in Barra) is farther from other points, but overall location is a major positive.

Room Quality

Multiple complaints about room condition: small rooms, visible wear and tear, poor lighting, lack of bathroom ventilation, broken exhaust/AC issues and worn pillows/coverings — room quality is a clear area for improvement.

Amenities

Good amenities noted: heated pool/hot tub, children's play area, decent pool-side breakfast option and generally well-kept public spaces; some reports of elevator congestion and occasional pool not being heated, but amenities are a strong point.

Value for Money

Mixed signals: several guests call it good value or cost-effective, while others find it pricey for the room condition (rough sheets, small towels). Overall value is solid but with caveats tied to room quality.

Luxurious Amenities

Featuring a year-round outdoor pool, a fitness centre, and a business centre, Laghetto Stilo Barra offers a luxurious stay for guests looking to relax and unwind in style.

Beachfront Location

Situated on Rio de Janeiro's stunning Barra da Tijuca Beach, guests at Laghetto Stilo Barra can enjoy breathtaking ocean views and easy access to the sandy shores for a perfect beach getaway.
