Hotel description and useful information for travellers

Cleanliness

Rooms repeatedly described as clean and well-kept, though some minor maintenance/paint issues were noted; overall hygiene is strong.

Service

Consistently outstanding staff: extremely helpful, friendly, carried baggage, looked after lost items, went above and beyond for guests.

Location

Multiple reviews praise the excellent, quiet side-street location very close to Gare du Nord, canal and metro lines — highly convenient for sightseeing.

Room Quality

Mixed comments: beds often comfortable but rooms can be small; persistent complaints about very hard pillows and some minor maintenance (mirror, bulbs, paint).

Amenities

Air conditioning praised (worked well in heat wave), helpful front-desk services, and basic amenities functional; breakfast offerings mixed but available.

Value for Money

Several guests noted rooms felt small for the price and one called it expensive for room size, so value is perceived as slightly below top-tier for the area.
