Hotel description and useful information for travellers

Cleanliness

Mixed reports: some guests found bathrooms and rooms clean, but several noted issues (dirty carpet, a found cockroach, shower not working in one case and general poor maintenance).

Service

Generally praised: multiple mentions of friendly, helpful staff (parking attendant, front‑desk staff like 'Fred', cleaning staff). Isolated negative (rude receptionist in one report) but overall service was a strong positive.

Location

Consistently positive: very convenient for metro, close to airport and good base for visiting Los Angeles; many guests highlighted the excellent location.

Room Quality

Rooms often described as spacious and of decent quality, with clean bathrooms for many, but some problems reported (view onto another building, minibar sensor charging issues, occasional maintenance problems).

Amenities

Mixed: property has desirable facilities (pool mentioned as attractive) but lacks in‑room coffee machines, minibar sensor system is unpleasant, parking can be tight and some guests had trouble accessing amenities.

Value for Money

Perceived as somewhat pricey by several reviewers; a few guests questioned the quality/price balance given maintenance and breakfast issues.

Convenient Location

Located just 2 miles from UCLA and 4 miles from Beverly Hills, the Best Western Royal Palace Inn & Suites in Los Angeles offers the perfect blend of proximity and comfort for your stay.

Comfortable Rooms with Modern Amenities

Each guest room features a microwave, refrigerator, work desk, and complimentary Wi Fi. Enjoy your favorite shows on a satellite TV with over 60 channels and brew a fresh cup of coffee with the in-room coffee maker.
