Cleanliness

Generally praised as clean (several reviews note clean rooms and good housekeeping) but occasional issues mentioned (humidity in a room), so slightly above average.

Service

Staff and concierge repeatedly praised as friendly, bilingual and helpful; a few reports of less-helpful arrival staff lower the score slightly.

Location

Strongly positive across reviews — excellent placement in the Colonial zone, close to nightlife and attractions; most guests highlight location as a major plus.

Room Quality

Multiple complaints about room size, lack of outlets, very cold A/C, minimal bathroom fittings, non-opening windows and occasional humidity — overall below the target rating.

Amenities

Mixed: positives include an in-hotel grocery and beach access for some, but consistent negatives: no toiletries provided, few power outlets, no parking and minimal in-room features.

Conveniently Located in Santo Domingo Novus Plaza Hodelpa offers air-conditioned rooms, a fitness centre, free Wi Fi, and a terrace. Guests can enjoy the convenience of a tour desk, luggage storage, and a 24-hour front desk.
