Hotel description and useful information for travellers

Cleanliness

Mixed signals: many guests reported clean, tidy rooms, but at least one detailed stay reported hairs on bedding/toilet and a foul-smelling shower—enough to lower the score.

Service

Predominantly very positive: staff repeatedly described as friendly, welcoming and helpful (language support noted). A few mentions of rushed check-in or an unfriendly receptionist are present, but overall staff praise is strong.

Location

Consistently excellent: many reviewers highlight the hotel's proximity to major attractions (Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe), shops and cafés—clear strength for this property.

Room Quality

Generally good: many rooms are clean, attractive and some have balcony views; a number of guests noted the rooms can be very small which modestly reduces the score.

Amenities

Mixed: breakfast often praised, but issues reported with elevator wait times, an AC failure, limited bar service hours, and deposit/charging confusion—amenities are functional but inconsistent.

Value for Money

Several guests questioned value: complaints about extra charges (water, unexpected breakfast fee), price vs. service/cleanliness concerns and one detailed negative experience impacted perceived value.

Nestled in the heart of Paris, Elysees Union Hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort and elegance just moments away from iconic landmarks.

Stunning Views

Relax in our picturesque garden, where you can soak in beautiful Parisian views and enjoy tranquil moments away from the bustling city.
